Recycling guidelines:We accept all types of electronic waste for recycling in both Eureka and Arcata. E-waste includes, but is not limited to: Computers, Scanners, Printers, Photocopiers, Microwave Ovens, Stereos, etc. There is a fee of 10 cents/lb. for residential customers and 28 cents/lb. for non-residential customers.

ACRC and ECRC are certified by the Basel Action Network for ethical handling of e-waste, taking the electronic recycler’s pledge of true stewardship. E-waste collected at these sites is shipped to a recycling facility in Fresno, CA who certifies that e-waste is ethically handled and 100% recycled.
